My father, Wg Cdr (retd) Ashok Oberoi, the most gentle, kind, loving person, succumbed to Covid after 36 days of a brave battle in hospital. His family and friends miss him sorely, every single day. He was more than a number, like so many others. The least the government can do to heal those who lost their loved ones is to acknowledge it.
